Reiki Energy And Animals
I remember going to a particular house to do some clairvoyant readings and Reiki healing. As I knocked on the door, there was a dog barking and a lot of rustling behind the door. When the lady came to the door she apologized and explained that her dog was nasty. He bit everyone who came to the house so she had to put it in another room.
After I had finished, we all sat in the room, had a cup of tea and chatted. Everyone was so busy chatting they missed the small dog walking in the room. It walked behind the chairs and came along side me, stood on my bag and I began to stroke it. It climbed onto my lap and snuggled in as I stroked its back. Suddenly, the room went silent as everyone looked at the dog in amazement. The family could not get over the dog, as it had never gone to anyone before. The dog liked my energy and was quite happy to sit with me letting me give it healing and TLC. Animals know intuitively (just like human beings) the connection they have with people before they connect with our energy.
When my dog, Ben, had kidney failure recently, I gave him Reiki every day. One vet had given up on him and I went for a second opinion. I knew that there had to be something that could be done. I talked to him while I was healing him, because I knew that he could understand me. When he needed the healing, he would lie there, taking the Reiki, and just looking at me with his beautiful eyes and a look of knowing. Ben and I have a strong connection. We both seem to know what each other needs and wants at the right time. He is now improving and I know, if he could, he would do the same for me
