Breathing Techniques - The Golden Yellow Remedy

Published by patricia under Breath Work

This technique will enable you to surrender to gold’s delight and success, by releasing past fears and hurts.

Visualise an exquisite golden haze that colours the air you breathe.

Each time you breathe out, consciously extend the out-breath, encouraging it to lengthen.

Pause for four counts before you begin a new intake of breath. You may experience fear - or even panic - but realise you are now in control.

Breathing Techniques - Golden Breath of Trust

Published by patricia under Breath Work

Use this process to see how trusting you are of the universe. When you can trust, you can surrender yourself to the delights of the cosmos.

Take a full breath in and release it.   Note if the breath going out is shorter than the breath taken in.

If it is, then it shows that somewhere along the way you have lost faith in life, maybe as a child experiencing disappointment, shock or criticism.

The subconscious eventually learns never to trust the universe to supply the next breath, so a tendency develops to grab the next incoming breath quickly - just in case the universe forgets.

Breathing Techniques - Brilliant Rainbow Oxygenation Breathing

Published by patricia under Breath Work

This is a life-enhancing technique that increases the purity of the blood through breath. It can be practised at any time, anywhere and incorporates all the rainbow colours of brilliance into the system. Before starting, focus on a clear quartz crystal or a diamond - or even a glass of water - to encourage the brilliance to penetrate the psyche.

1.  Sitting or lying down with the shoulders and relaxed, fill your lungs with a full breath and hold it for as long as you can.

2. Holding the breath, slowly count from one upwards and see how far you can go before you have to release the breath

3. Repeat the exercise three times in a row and arrive at your maximum number. The desired count to reach is 50, when your system will be fully energised. Do not despair if you only attain a low number. It just shows you need to work with the process.

Practice the technique once a day and continue for life, so that you are constantly recharging yourself with life’s supreme, brilliant balance.

Colour breathing techniques can infuse you with new life and vigour.

Breathing Techniques - Cosmic Purple Breath

Published by patricia under Breath Work

Breath if the vital force that sustains life. The very air we breathe is full of brilliant light and colors. To practice color breathing in a deep, rhythmic way, visualize the color rays coming from the sun’s life force. While absorbing large quantities of pure air raise our bodily vibrations, which in turn encourages vitality and a healthy mind and body. Color breathing has been used successfully for centuries for health and healing and for the purpose of support in our daily activities.

When practicing the following techniques always remember to breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Cosmic Purple Breath

This breathing technique will allow you to go walkabout into the universe. It is a splendid way of harnessing life’s energy force of breath to move you into the celestial realms. This process of breath control encourages you with each expansion and contraction to move more fully into this life, allowing you to stay in the moment.

Stage One; In Breath

1.    Lie down and focus on your own natural breathing, imagining the air filled with violet-purple.

2.    Hold the next in-breath and explore the space where you have stopped. Dare to move into the
U-bend place, if only for a few seconds.

Stage Two: Out Breath

3.    Release your breath and on completion of expelling the air, wait in this place of turning around to see where it leads you, before you fill your lungs again.

The New Year - Letting Go

Published by patricia under Finding Inner Peace

As we enter the New Year wondering what life has in store for us – will it be a better year? – have my troubles ended? We sometimes feel disillusionment about our way forward.

Francis Fenelon wrote: “Do not think of disillusionment as a sad thing, we think this state is terrible – we are mistaken. It is there that we find peace and liberty.”

It is important for our spiritual growth to let go of the past and live in the present. A man called Anon once said: “living in yesterday is a cancelled cheque – tomorrow is a promissory note and today is cash in hand, spend it wisely.”

The New Year is a good time to let go of the past to be able to move forward. There is an affirmation you can say to do this.

“My intention is to forgive everyone in my past, and to thank them for the wisdom and the knowledge that I now have. I cannot know the full purpose and implication of all the experiences at this time, but I place my trust in the greater plan for this planet and my role within it. I am letting go of the past now, releasing negativity from my cellulary memory and moving forward taking only the positive knowledge, wisdom and experience, which I will use for the highest good of all concerned, my new way of being. I am now free and detached from old negative thought patterns, and able to view the past with unconditional love.”

There is a need to move forward with only positive thoughts.

There is also another way which is called “The Sacred Rite”. This is used for releasing anger, hurt and emotions through the written word. This is also a therapeutic method of clearing mind, body and spirit.

Write a letter to the individual or parties concerned (for your eyes only – not to be given too them or even posted. ) Fully express your innermost feelings, explaining why you are hurt, angry and distraught and so on. Write only your true feelings, not seeking revenge. When you have finished, set up your sacred rite, burning the letter in a heat resistant dish or open fire. As the letter burns, visualise your mind and body purified by the release of these emotions, stating your desire to move forward in your life – Give Thanks.

Harbouring thoughts of revenge and bearing grudges anchor us firmly in the past, clouding our visions of the future. To move on, these thought patterns will eventually have to be released.

So start the New Year by letting go and allow yourself to be free to move on - bringing in an inner calm and knowing that the future will be brighter.

Happy New Year to everyone. May your New Year bring you happiness and joy.

Clean Your Crystals Regularly

Published by patricia under Crystals

There are several methods for cleansing. Choose the one that is right for your crystal.

Most tumbled stones and single points are happy being washed under flowing water, but soft, friable crystals or mica-based ones should never be immersed in water and this can harm clusters too. Selenite is water-soluble and will eventually disappear if washed.

When cleansing crystals, hold a strong intention that all negative energies will be transmitted and the crystal will be re-energised and ready for use again.

If you live near the ocean, you can take advantage of the natural surroundings and immerse suitable crystals in seawater (placing them in a washing basket or mesh bag) for an hour or two. After they have soaked in seawater, the crystals will need to be rinsed in pure water,

If you don’t live near the ocean, place a handful of sea salt in a bowl of water – works equally well.

Crystals can also be held under running water for a few minutes.

Make sure you allow your crystals to dry naturally in the sun.

Use Crystals For A Safe Working Space

Published by patricia under Crystals, Dreams

Clear Quartz dispels the static electricity that is often found in offices and that contributes to sick-building syndrome – a state where the energies in a building are so bad they create disease amongst the occupants.

A large Smokey Quartz creates a protective bubble that keeps you free from other people’s stress and frustration.

If your own job is stressful, keep a piece of Rose Quartz or Amethyst handy and hold this whenever you can. It will calm your energies and disperse them safely.

Wearing an Aquamarine has the same effect.

Crystals For Improving Teamwork

Published by patricia under Crystals

If you work as part of a team, Yellow Flourite supports co-operation between team members, so does emerald.

Tiger’s Eye aids the reaching of goals. Pink Chalcedony helps resolve conflict and smoking quartz draws off any negative energies.

There are other crystals such as Jasper Lapis Lazuli, Rhodonite and Sugilite that helps resolve conflict.

When there is bickering or criticism or communication problems try placing Aquamarine or Sodalite in the room. Sodalite is useful for changing attitudes.

If you find it difficult to express your ideas to colleagues, wear a Sapphire, or if taking constructive criticism is difficult for you. Citrine will allow you to be open to this.

Serpentine facilitates where compromise is needed`
