Psychology of Colour - Brilliance 7

Published by patricia under brilliance, light

Light is a nutrient and is vital for perfect health and well-being. We lack the brilliant light within our systems when we feel negative, lost and alone. You can use a spectrum light bulb when you are confined to bed, or if you are unable to take a walk. An equal amount of all the colours will penetrate your body, rejuvenating you at all levels. Drink plenty of pure water, which is liquid brilliance, to balance and bring tranquility to the system.

Psychology of Colour - Brilliance 6

Published by patricia under brilliance, light

Brilliance connects to the lymphatic system and the areas that filter out the debris from our bodies. It is the unseen aura of life’s energy force.

Many colour therapists consider brilliance to be a “cure all” with the power to modify any condition. But it is advisable to respect the clear brilliance light and use it sparingly for healing. Give it the respect you would give to a burning fire. Brilliance can cause damage if used at random; however, a clean sweep of light, when monitored, can allow the body and mind to renew and start again. Brilliance is a great recharger. The brilliant light brings about change, clearing away all that is unwanted. It acts as an antiseptic in the sickroom, removing bacteria and unpleasant odours. Exposing the body to a full spectrum light in a darkened room can begin the process of clearing physical ailments, particularly allergies and chronic conditions. Open the curtains and let the power of sunlight enter the room and begin the healing process.

Brilliance is the energy of transformation, embracing both the positive and negative within you, enabling you to wipe the slate clean and start again. It can bring about anything from a house move or a change of work, to a subtle transformation within. Old patterns will fall away to be replaced with joy and an uplifted spirit. You emerge, brand new. Crystal clear brilliance will always show you the path as long as light springs eternally.

Psychology of Colour - Brilliance 4

Published by patricia under brilliance, light

Brilliance is the supreme light, so shades and tints are not identified. All colours come from brilliance and it is to brilliance that they return.

Brilliance clears the way for necessary actions and clears any cloudiness in a person or colour. It brings hope when all seems lost. Situations become clearer because brilliance allows the delusions of our lives to dissolve. Using brilliance, we can maintain a balance between the world of restricting form – the material universe – and the formless “spirit” that everything emerges from and returns to. Brilliance promotes balance between the heart and the head.

Psychology of Colour - Brilliance 3

Published by patricia under brilliance, light

When we say that a person is brilliant, we are acknowledging their purity of vision and the actions that arise from it. Brilliance is the pure light that sustains our life. To say someone is “off colour” is literally true. We can sense that the person’s light is muddied or diluted in some way. Should the light disappear entirely, the person dies. Where there is no light, there is no life.

Psychology of Colour - Brilliance 2

Published by patricia under brilliance, light

Our local source of brilliance is the sun. Without brilliance there is no vision, either internally or externally. Brilliance cuts directly through to the truth; it is hard light that exposes all flaws and corruption. Within brilliance is the essence of all qualities, both positive and negative, sparkling in their own perfection.

Psychology of Colour - Brilliance 1

Published by patricia under brilliance, light

Brilliance is the clear, transparent “original light” from whence all other colours spring and return. Brilliance is not actually a colour – brilliance should not be mistaken for white. It is not an earthly colour: it is “cosmic light” that represents the Universal Intelligence. It is the clear light at the end of the tunnel that people report in near-death experiences – the clear light that The Tibetan Book of the Dead advises the newly deceased person to head for. All rays of colour are brought into perfect balance through brilliance – it embodies the pure trinity of love, power and wisdom.
