Experiments and research continues in all parts of the globe and in all disciplines. The deeper we delve into matter, the more we are shown that what we are perceiving as a solid tangible world, is actually an illusion. Scientists have gone beyond electrons into quarks and neutrinos. The world of the tiniest particles known to man is not so much removed from the astronomical world of Gustaf Stromberg.

A quick perusal of any art history book will show the reader that auras are a part of the religious cultures of India and China. In both cultures, the deities are shown encased in layers of flames or radiance.

Later on, as the Christian religion became prevalent in Western culture, auras were painted around angels, Jesus and the Holy Family. You will also note in these paintings, the presence of a halo.

Due to the fact that the aura’s energy is very strong around the head, and that Jesus of Nazareth was an advanced being, this brightening of the aura could have been witnessed by many individuals. Another possibility is that what was being represented, as a halo was actually the energy at the crown chakra.

Studies of the aura show us that we are more than we may have previously thought we were. To move into the future in the most positive way, we must first learn how to deal with the past and eliminate the unhealthy aspects of it so that we can finally be free to go on.

Dr Gustaf Stromberg, an astronomer for nearly thirty years at the Mt. Wilson Observatory in Southern California, did not always have his mind on the stars.

He postulated a theory that all life, as we know it here on a physical plane, comes from and remains rooted in the non-physical universe. He believed that energy and form emerge from the non-physical universe according to a deliberate plan of patterns of fields, which govern the world, we perceive.

Stromberg hypothesised that such fields not only emerge from the non-physical world but return to that world at the moment which we would regard as physical death.

Researchers at Yale University, headed by Drs H.S. Burr and F.S.C. Northrop, conducted a series of experiments to determine the validity of their ‘electro-dynamic’ theory of life.

Their experiments showed that all living things had a complex electrical field surrounding them that extended beyond the limits of human vision.

Using an extremely sensitive device (an ultra-sensitive micro-voltmeter) which measures these electrical fields down to a millionth of a volt, Burr found that as oxygen is removed from the environment of the living organism, the surrounding electrical field begins to contract without changing in structure and disappears at the moment of death.

“It is hard to escape the conclusion” said Burr, “that the electrical pattern is primary and in some measure at least determines the morphological pattern.”

I remember a story being told to me about a young boy who was sitting by a large oak tree, its leaves rattling in the warm summer breeze. His feet dangling over the sandy bank at the edge of a small pond.

The boy watched the colourful rainbows dance off the bottom of a nearby rock. A squirrel surrounded in a cocoon of blue and green light, peels away at an acorn near a rock. The boy extends his hand offering more acorns and the squirrel darts quickly to the far side of the old oak. Jets of light poured out of his fingertips. He thought everyone could see the same. It took him two decades to discover that not everyone saw things as he did. That boy became a well-known author.

Auras are layers of energy surrounding the body a collection of electo-magnetic energies of varying densities which are exiting from the physical, vital, etheric, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
